Introductions
Cloud Shadow Studio & Fine Art Gallery is a private art studio, specializing in printmaking, photography, digital art, collage and painting. We hold Open-House & Gallery Shows several times a year, and are also open by appointment.
Anthony
Owner / Gallery Manager
Anthony is a professional artist specializing in Mezzotint, Aquatint and other old-school printmaking techniques. He studied relief and intaglio printmaking under Peter Ramsey, in Seatle, Washington; and specialized in Mezzotint, after residencies in Nantes, France, studying under the master Mezzotint artist Laurent Schkolnyk.
From the late 1990’s to 2020, he was an active member of the arts community on San Juan Island, Washington, where he managed a small art gallery and taught printmaking at 'Studio 7', his private art studio; Anthony also taught classes at the local Community College, as a guest instructor; was a cofounder of a local artists' collective; a participant in the anual artist studio tours; and was a participating artist, as well as employee of, the San Juan Island Museum of Art, in Friday Harbor.
Anthony relocated to South Dakota, in 2020, and with Terri Clark, established a new private art studio and gallery, which we named Cloud Shadow Studio, to reflect our appreciation of the sunshine, big blue skies, puffy white clouds and the beautiful rural landscape of South Dakota.
He also works in photography, collage, digital art and painting.

Honey & Sugar
Supervisors / Entertainment
Honey & Sugar are the resident studio-cats. They are in charge of everything, and keep a close eye on Anthony as he works.
Honey & Sugar were born in the wilds of Wakonda and relocated to Cloud Shadow Studio in 2023. They are pleased with the move and very happy with their employees.
Terri
Owner / Business Manager
Terri is the business manager and graphics designer for the studio. She also gets her hands in on the arts side, with printmaking, photography and digital art, as well as a specialty craft, repurposing old denims into one-of-a-kind, designer purses and bags, with creative names such as "The Big-Bottom Bag", "Seat of the Pants", "A Leg-Up" and such.
Terri had a 30-year career with San Juan County, Washington, as an Engineering Technician and Geographic Information Systems Specialist, after moving out west from South Dakota in the mid-1980’s.
Terri is pleased to be back “home” in South Dakota doing the things she loves best— being creative, gardening, spending time with family and going on occasional motorcycle rides with her partner, Anthony.
